I am only now getting into the holiday season, it never used to be my favourite but it has definitely grown on me in the most recent year. I've come to love the decorations and the excitement that bubbles in your heart as it gets closer to Christmas Day and the New Years. Currently, I'm obsessing over choosing the perfect New Years eve dress and struggling with picking gifts at the same time.
For some reason, fun, chic and sexy is my theme this year. I'm excited for bling, glitter and the bold colours. These three words were playing in my head when I picked out my three favourite dresses. Although very simple, each dress can be dressed up to have you stealing the show! Here's How I styled them.
The Red Bodycon
This red body con number was my choice for the Christmas look. It easily checks off the sexy box, the fit making for and simple and elegant look. I brought in the fun with my accessories, diving into everything diamond and sparkly. A fun body con dress has never failed and if you go bright enough, you'll stand out without trying at all!
The Sleek Blue
Blue is one of those colours that always reads as elegant and regal. I fell in love with this blue dress during one of my "shop with me" instagram journeys and I could already picture myself in this for New Years Eve. This velvet number is perfect for skipping the popular holiday colours but while still standing out. Something about the velvet texture and the fit of this dress paired with some diamond/silver accessories makes me want to dance the night away while bringing in the new year.
2019 will be epic after all, why not start it out looking like you feel it?! I want to tell you about how the deep v of this dress and the studded wrap around is the perfect silhouette. And how this gorgeous diamond from Le Chateaux clutch is one purse that you need in your collection. But I'll stop gushing now
The Champagne Ruffle
Now here's where all the fun is. This champagne ruffle dress paired with simple black sandals and silver/diamond accessories made my favourite holiday look. This Champagne ruffle dress screams high pitched laughs and a desire to just dance the night away. Get in the holiday spirit with this vibrant coloured dress. Its simple yet holiday appropriate, its perfect for your work /after work events.
My favourite thing about this dress is that it is a splash of colour that can go either simple or glamorous. It's one of those colours that won't have you looking like a Christmas tree.
