Big Girl Pants

I love my casual outfits, my simple denims and tees and dresses, but once in a while I like to try different looks. I'm loving this style because I enjoy pairing different textures together. The (faux) leather jacket and shoes give this outfit a bit of an edge, but my favourite item is definitely the pants. I call them my "big girl pants" , they are exactly what you would expect the love child of formal pants and culottes to look like. I also love the awkward length of the pants and how they look like maxi skirts with my legs closed.

It was one of those cold days that looked beautiful and sunny from your window, so the jacket came in handy. The days are definitely getting warmer, I intend to my big girl pants again as well as more summer outfits...its legs time and I am ready! 😉
