I love mixing textures and patterns! I think its one of my best things to do and it gets even better when I can incorporate textures and patterns that I do not normally wear! This is styling paradise to me and this is how I style "The Tweed Mix"!
First of I picked up this tweed mini skirt sometime in January when everyone and their mom were wearing plaid and everything plaid related. I fell in love with it because it Brough back memories of my teenage self wanting to be in "Clueless", the movie. I mean who did not want to have this look? Also I personally think tweed print is one of those unique elite fabric. Its rare and always scarce on the runway but can look amazing when done right!
Great I have a cute body con cut skirt, now what? It would have been a great look if this was paired with a white or black T-shirt, but on some days, I love to have fun! I paired the tweed skirt with this checkered halter neck crop top. I threw in a pair of black sandals to keep my look grounded and opted for a Burgundy bucket bag.
The tweed mix is a fun, chic and preppy way to mix some textures in your wardrobe. I suggest you try this with any patterned or printed piece of clothing you have in your wardrobe, give the white and black tee a break and take a chance or a multi-print look. You just might fall in love!
