I can't believe February is finally here! And of course with February comes the big Valentine's Day event. As always, I will be camped in front of my TV on the 14th, drinking chai tea and scrolling through my Instagram. However I know not everyone has a date with their instagram feed, so for the rest of you with actual human dates (both platonic and romantic), here's my Valentine's Day style guide.
For the month of love, I tapped into my femme side to bring you three dresses that you can strut in for dinner with your beau, or dinner and cocktails with friends or family. The Black Bodycon Midi Dress:
Of course a black bodycon dress a wardrobe must have! I have talked about how a black bodycon that fits right can add a touch of elegance to your look. But most importantly, it is one of the most easy to style dress item there is. I paired mine with black sandals and kept the accessories minimal with just an earring and a bracelet. The Beige One-Shoulder Midi Dress:
This would be my first choice for drinks with the girls! This one shoulder dress fits like a glove. I paired it with my orange Nine West scrappy sandals and bright earrings to give it a pop of colour. The Metallic Bombshell Mini:
This is the dress for turning heads. I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it. It reminded me of a gold dress I wore for my birthday a couple years ago and I knew I just had to have it. This silver dress is perfect for an evening with the beau. The fit is lovely and fits beautifuly on the body. If your body is similar to mine, I will note that your bely might show a little bit...but who doesn't love an adorable pooch?!
I also styled the silver dress with white demim for my ladies who don't always want to wear a dress. Something chic and minimal that still lets you stand out!
Whatever you do this Valentines, make sure you do it with people you love. Romantic partners are great but the season for love is for everyone! So grab drinks with a frined, go bowling, go dancing...just have fun!
