The Belt Bag – Strategic Accessorizing

I know what you are thinking, yes I am a bit late on the belt bag train, but lets talk about it anyways! I am making a case for strategic accessorizing today, picking the perfect add on to amp up your look a bit and this is the perfect example; the belt bag!

One of my favorite this about the fashion industry is that your high school clothes could come back in style if you hold on to them long enough. Everything from the nineties are coming back babe, from mules, to polka dot prints to fanny packs! Yes, fanny packs are no longer just for dads. But with that said, is there a perfect belt bag? I do not know, but I can say I have found the most versatile one. I picked up this cute mini bag from Missguided last winter and at that time, I gushed about how I loved the jumbo straps because they reminded me of vintage luggage straps.

For this look, I love the spin on the classic Tee and Denim look, of course I tied my shirt to allow the belt bag frame my hips for the perfect silhouette,  making my waist look slimmer and my hips rounder (thank God!). There isn’t anything better than wearing your most comfortable pieces and having them look as chic as possible. To me style is about taking regular basics and putting your spin on , I always add one more thing to my everyday look, even if its just a pair of glasses , it takes your look from a regular casual look to a simple chic look.

Remember you don’t need a new wardrobe to dress the way you want, have fun with your wardrobe. Try a belt bag, a pair glasses or some colorful earrings.
