The Shirtdress
I’ve been obsessing over “the shirtdress” look for a while now, I seem to leave in shirt-dresses these days because well they are easy to throw on! Apart from being easy to throw on, the shirt dress is a very important piece for your wardrobe, it can be styled up or down. Styled down with flats for a casual / comfortable, or styled up for an evening out. Personally, I believe “the shirtdress” is one of those pieces that takes over your whole outfit. Its definitely a piece that forces you to take every detail into consideration.
For this look, its me, my denim shirtdress, these print pumps that I got from Shoedazzle OVER a year ago (header problems), and my thrifted mini bag. I went with a balanced look today, not all the way styled up but not quite casual. When it comes to denim pieces, I like to keep my details as minimal as possible, even with the shirt dress.

personally i love the concept of a shirt dress, and i think girls can use any long shirt for that., the beauty about the shirt dress is that you can get creative with it.
True! A long shirt or an extra large of a regular Tee is also an alternative.
